I am dying to know what little Baby Wright will be. I am, of course, way excited to meet it and start calling it something other than it. But the real reason I want to know is because I am in nesting mode something fierce!
I have an interesting nesting conundrum. We bought a house in MN, but Husband is finishing up one more semester in UT. We won't be moving in until January, after Baby Wright is born. I want everything perfect now because I won't have the energy to create perfection then (Husband informs me that I'll always find the energy to decorate). So, I'm trying to get as much done as I can before we go back to UT in one month! We get the keys to our place in less than a week, good thing cause I can't really remember what everything looks like....I remember I love it....and the master bedroom is pink...that's it.
We find out on August 12 what our bundle will be (if they cooperate. Praying they do cause I'm having a gender reveal party that night!), and until then I'm working on getting my 'basic' nursery together. Whether we're having a little man or a little lady, I know that I want the walls a navy/dusty blue, the furniture grey and the trimmings white. Then I'll throw in gender accents.
I have a chair, dresser and crib. Good thing I have a few more weeks before finding out because the chair is torn apart (fabric is order to recover it with), the dresser is sanded (with the can of stain just sitting on top of it), and the crib is currently yellow (leaning against the wall in pieces).
Let this summer be remembered as the year every project I
took on was vastly beyond my talent scope.
I'm so excited for you to find out what you're having. I love all the stuff you have picked out for your nursery.
ReplyDeleteI'm way excited - I realized that other day I don't really feel like there is another person inside me, I think knowing the gender will make it a lot more real!
DeleteAnd thanks, I've had such a fun time thinking of what I want! I keep going to yard sales and these moms keep trying to sell me on all their stuff, and I'm like 'I know what I want, back off!'
Everything that is going on is so exciting:)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, sooooo exciting! Wish I could enjoy each piece a little more, oh well :).

ReplyDeleteHow fun, I am excited for you and can't wait to find out what you are having! Also you are correct in thinking you will not be able to do much after the baby comes. I thought I would have all this time to finish different projects and I can never find the time or energy. Good luck with everything!
