We met Daddy for lunch today at a park and Wade dried all the slides with his butt. And the girls went on a swing for the first time and they loved it - listening to them take turns giggling as they went back and forth was wonderful. They're * almost* always free for you to borrow, FYI.
This is how Husband and I spend all our free time when our kids are awake:
Playing jungle gym.
Jac decided she loves playing under the table. Then Wade decided he needed to join. Then I became the coolest mom ever and made it a fort. Hours of enjoyment.
Blake's newest favorite toy are these sunglasses:
The girls have delved further into the world of the kitchen cupboards:
Oh, and love this one of the girls fighting over Ramen like a couple of poor college kids.
Blake's been out-eating Jacqueline. How's that for a turn of events? Jac has gotten picky and throws everything on the floor (Stella loves her). Hmmm, actually, she's not that picky - she's just a goober and likes throwing everything on the floor. But Jac will be making a fuss and playing and giggling and then I'll look at Blake and she's shoved all her food in and cleared her tray.
Jacqueline grew another tooth and I think is working on her canines. Which has lead to this:
Actually, this happened cause I took my phone from her, which reveals two things about Miss Jac:
1. She's got quite the little temper (crap! Payback from my childhood).
2. She loves my phone. I put it on the back of the couch and she worked to get up on the couch to get it. Determined little peanut.
Oh, and I love a good crying picture.
Wade's been sneaking out of his room during nap time and hiding under the table in his play room. He builds up toys around him so he's well hidden - hoping to get away with it. One afternoon I heard him get up and make too much noise and he said to himself, "shhhh" so he wouldn't get caught. Haha!
Everyone's been loving the play room...Okay, I don't really have anything much to say, except that this picture is really cute:
Wade and Jac just love each other so much.
We got out Halloween stuff and Wade loved it. Wait, that shouldn't be past tense, it needs to be current. He's loving it. Thinking about making a series about all the places Wade displays the pumpkins. Any time I try to put them somewhere he notices immediately and tells me that he needs his halloween pumpkins. Beats last year when he kept taking bites out of them (the ones that made it are still marred with teeth marks).
I also put up some spiders and everytime Wade sees them he pretend screams, "Ahhh! Spiders, we gotta go hide!"
On our way to church Wade said, "C'mon guys, we gotta get outta here!"
When I drive Wade's become a back seat driver, always saying, "Drive faster mommy! Faster!"
We cut open a watermelon that we grew! It was really good! I mean, it tasted just like a really good watermelon bought at the store, but cooler, cause it came from our garden. We got two watermelons from the plant that was $5...and this plant has the highest yield ROI in my garden. Someday gardening will make economic sense, right?!
Oh, but speaking of my garden, my sunflowers!! I love looking out my kitchen window and seeing these lovelies.
Definitely planting them every year.
