2019 chapter 9

Walked in on Wade eating all the raisins out of the Raisin Bran.

No on is sick at my house!!!

Jacqueline's been saying "That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!"With the coolest cool kid attitude anytime I give her something good (whether she was actually talking about it or not).

Today Wade told me that I have a "humongous tummy" and "you can eat dessert whenever you want." Perks of being the mom.

Went grocery shopping and bought food for lunch, but then the thought of unloading everyone and the food then making tired and hungry (aka grouchy) little people was overwhelming, so we got McDonald's cheeseburgers and ate them while we went through the car wash. I then unloaded my groceries in peace.

The girls took all the clean, unfolded laundry + all the clothes in their closet + all their bedding and made this Tower of Babel in an attempt to reach a pair of scissors. They were scattered asunder.

Bryan's been golfing with the kids. They LOVE it. I think he does too. Wade's hit it a whole 6 yards!! I sit and watch and think it's terrifying. So much club waving.  For a five year old who has played for maybe 10 whole minutes, he's doing pretty good. He exclaims all his triumphs with such enthusiasm, "I can't believe I did!!!" as he jumps in the air after every time he makes contact with the ball.

Jac's our lefty. Bryan asked her what hand she drew with and she said, "Um....blue?" He then gave her a tee and told her to draw a picture and she used her left hand. At one point she hit herself in the head with the club, "Ouch! I just hit my head little bit. I okay." Like I said, clubs everywhere.

Did another photo shoot for my friend that sells Matilda Jane clothes. I had way too much fun making the girls room extra cute to use as our backdrop. Blake just wanted to play with the dollhouse the whole time - got pictures of her doing it, calling it an action shot.

I've been working on displaying more pictures of Christ in my home. My friend, Alyssa, was making me one for Christmas. But Christmas got busy and she was stressing because a picture of Christ is rather daunting and it just wasn't coming together. But then she got a punch needle set for Christmas and has been playing with it, and then my present came together. I had no idea what she was doing, and yesterday she handed me this and I cried.

I hung it up immediately when I got home and I've been staring at it all day as I do my stretches (also, realized I have a macrame wall hanging that matched is perfectly hanging on the other wall, it's like she knows me and picked the colors accordingly).

Getting ready to leave for Mexico on Friday! Traveling to different weather with kids is weird cause I've had to make them try on a bunch of clothes to see what fits and consequently my girls have been wearing bathing suits all week. I'm excited to go and leave the snow and relax and let me body heal (I'll be the crazy one laying on the ground with my legs at a 90 degree angle on the lounge chair). Most stressed out about water while flying. That's the worst.
